You're closing the store tonight. The lights are off, the door is locked, and the customers are gone... or so you thought.
Made for the Drop Bear Horror Jam 2.
Some minor bugs and errors may be present.
Mia's first job at FoodMart is anything but exciting. Long hours, low pay, mandatory overtime, and she swears she can hear the bell on the door in her sleep.
Mr.Spencer has "asked" you to stay late to restock the store, but it's been a weird day already. Jake didn't show up for work, his mother came in earlier, crying and looking for him. Maybe he found something better to do... or maybe something worse found him.
Navigate the store, complete your tasks, and... Was that the door opening?

A well polished slasher flick with a potential to become series - excellent work!
I'm a huge fan of "Halloween" type slashers and intimidating killers. I've to say you nailed the atmosphere, sound design and characters. For some reason, the main character Mia felt 3 dimensional, given just 1 simple scene. As far as the beginning of the game - classic horror approach. Overall - highly recommend this!

hopefully there is an update soon the sensitivity is to high and optimization needs some work as well.
Thanks for the feedback. I will try to get an update in tonight before the Jam it's submitted in submission period ends. If not I'll unfortunately have to wait until after the Jam ends.

I was able to get the update up before the jam submission period ended. I have decreased the default mouse sensitivity, as well as added the ability to change it via the options menu inside the pause menu. I made few optimization changes as well, outlined in my latest devlog, to hopefully provide a better experience. I also uploaded a downloadable windows build that may run better then the WebGL version for some players, but haven't gotten to fully test it. After the jam ends I will upload a more optimized WebGL build. Thanks again for your feedback.
